Hannah Burch is the founder and owner of Burch Milk. Born and raised in Nashville, she is a tenth generation native and third generation entrepreneur. After graduating high school, Hannah fulfilled her dreams of becoming a Tar Heel and graduated from UNC Chapel Hill in 2013 with a degree in Political Science and History with an emphasis on U.S.-Latin American Relations. Hannah moved to Charleston after college and worked various white collar jobs while trying to find her muse.
In the Summer of 2015, Hannah returned to Nashville to reset and recenter after an unfulfilling time away from home. An athlete her entire life, Hannah prescribed to a holistic and wellness lifestyle to compete at the highest levels. Self described as impatient, she created her perfect job instead of waiting for it. Hannah took the plunge on New Year’s Eve 2015 to create Nashville’s first nut milk company.
You’ll find Hannah taking classes at Barre3, Sanctuary for Yoga, Body, & Spirit, and Krank. She also enjoys the Mean Green at Juice Bar, drinking coffee at Barista Parlor, eating at Miel, and grocery shopping at Whole Foods. Hannah is obsessed with Game of Thrones and watches Premier League matches whenever she has the opportunity. Her favorite fun fact is the three most recognizable Western names in China are: Jesus Christ, Richard Nixon, and Elvis Presley. Hannah lives by the Mohammed Ali quote, “I hated every minute of training. But I said, ‘Don’t quit. Suffer now. And live the rest of your life as a champion."
